Where Are You Located?
Dunalastair Hotel Suites is in the centre of the village of Kinloch Rannoch, Perthshire PH16 5PW.
How Can I Check Availability and Book a Stay?
You can check availability for your preferred dates and book online via our online booking system(opens in new tab).

What Time Can I Check In?
Check-in is available from 3pm onwards. If we can, we will try to get you in earlier but we cannot always guarantee this. We will be happy to store your luggage safely and you can use the facilities until your room is ready. Check out time is 11am.
What Is Your Cancellation Policy?
All cancellation terms depend upon the type of rate booked. Our Advance Purchase Rates are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Generally, our “Best Available Rates” allow for more flexibility to alter or cancel your booking up until 48 hours before arrival without charge. Cancellations made less than 48 hours before arrival may incur one night’s room charge. For more details, please see our full T&Cs.(opens in new tab)
What Is Your Children's Policy?
Our suites can accommodate a maximum of 2 children on the basis of sharing with 2 adults.
Up to 2 children aged 4 and under can stay and take breakfast for free when sharing with 2 adults in the same room.
Children aged 5-15 are charged £30 per child per night on our bed and breakfast package.
Please note that we do not provide a dedicated children’s menu or specific children’s dishes. Tipsy Stag menu items cannot be served in The Macnab Restaurant.
Children aged 16 and over are classified as adults and will be charged at normal rates. For more details, please see our T&Cs(opens in new tab).
Is the Hotel Dog Friendly?
Sadly we do not accept dogs or any pets. Our sister hotel - Loch Rannoch Hotel(opens in new tab) in the village warmly welcomes non residents with dogs in the Wild Brownie Bar.
What Is Your Smoking Policy?
Dunalastair Hotel Suites has an 100% non-smoking policy, in all public areas and bedrooms. Smoking is permitted outside at a minimum of 2m distance from any entrance. Please be mindful of other guests and use cigarette bins provided. Do not throw these on the floor or in our flower pots.
Is the Hotel Accessible?
Parking is available immediately in front of the hotel for guests with mobility issues. We have 2 rooms that are accessible friendly.
Both rooms have a walk in shower and grab handles by the toilet and shower.
Ramps are available for wheelchair access if needed.
Is There Parking Available?
There is parking around the Hotel for Hotel guests and a couple of parking spaces for guests with mobility issues immediately in front of the Hotel.
The Hotel has an electric charging point and there are further public electric charging points in the village square.
What Facilities Are Available at the Hotel?
At our sister hotel, Loch Rannoch Hotel(opens in new tab) it has an extended range of facilities including:
2 restaurants and a bar, a newly built terrace, games room with full-size snooker table and pool table, as well as skittle alley, table football, air hockey and table tennis. Leisure at the Marina includes a new fitness suite with floor-to-ceiling windows with views over Loch Rannoch, water sports facilities with kayaks and SUP paddleboards for hire, bicycles and e-bikes to rent, a squash court and an indoor climbing wall.
The spa facilities include an indoor pool, sauna and steam room and Ishga spa treatment rooms and facilities.
The Hotel restaurants, bars and entertainment are available to hotel guests and to non-residents. Booking ahead is recommended to avoid any disappointment.
The Tipsy Stag Bar and lounge is open every day for lunch and drinks in the evening.
The MacNab Restaurant is open for dinner every evening.
Can I Use the Spa and Leisure Facilities at Loch Rannoch Hotel?
Yes but there is a resort fee of £35 per room per night. For opening times click here(opens in new tab) for the spa and click here(opens in new tab) for the leisure.
When Are Your Restaurants Open?
Breakfast - please refer to the page on the website for current times or check with the hotel reception.
The Tipsy Stag lounge bar is open for drinks daily from 11am and luncheon is served from 12 noon to 3.30pm Monday to Saturday and 12.30 to 3.30pm on Sunday.
The MacNab restaurant is open every evening for dinner from 6pm - 8.15pm.
We warmly welcome children to The MacNab restaurant, however, please note that we do not provide a dedicated children’s menu or specific children’s dishes. The Tipsy Stag Bar menu cannot be served in The MacNab Restaurant and visa versa for The MacNab Restaurant.
Breakfast is served in The MacNab Restaurant.

Can I Make a Reservation for Dinner?
Kindly be advised that booking a table to any of our restaurants is highly recommended.
Reservations can be made for The MacNab Restaurant and The Tipsy Stag bar by contacting the hotel on 01882 580444 or online on the website with the booking link. It can sometimes be very busy especially at weekends, so we strongly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment.

Hotel guests, members of the Loch Rannoch Highland Club and non residents are all welcome in the hotel and restaurants. Booking ahead is important.
We warmly welcome children to The MacNab Restaurant, however, please note that we do not provide a dedicated children’s menu or specific children’s dishes. The Tipsy Stag menu items cannot be served in The MacNab Restaurant and the MacNab menu cannot be served in The Tipsy Stag Bar.
