The house epitomises Scottish “coorie” - contentment, warmth and well-being through simple pleasures, nature and a cozy home environment – not surprisingly, as the Gaelic Tigh na Sithe translates to “House of Peace”.

It’s beautifully decorated with lots of antiques, comfy sofas, open log fire in the sitting room, wood-burning stove in the snug dining room and beds to ‘sink into’, all of which create the perfect coorie atmosphere for your stay.

Tigh na Sithe is wonderful home for all seasons: cozy in winter with its log fires and equally perfect for long summer days with its pretty south and west-facing gardens.

Guests staying at Tigh na Sithe enjoy full complimentary access to Loch Rannoch Estate’s spa and leisure facilities with an indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room and superb Matrix gym, and in summer 2026, the Woodland Outdoor Spa opens with a hydro-therapy pool, hot tub, outdoor sauna and ice bath. You can also book Ishga spa treatments and rent e-bikes, paddleboards, kayaks and sailing dinghies, or try the indoor climbing wall, or even go wild swimming from the Marina beach with wetsuits available and a hot shower on hand!

It’s just a three-minute walk across the stone bridge over the River Tummel to Rannoch Country Store, which is well stocked with prepared meals, fresh meat and vegetables, grocery essentials, daily papers and a small gift shop.

If you choose to eat out, guests of Tigh na Sithe can have a priority table booking at either The MacNab at the 5-star Dunalastair Hotel Suites offering locally sourced Scottish food and game in season, or at the Wild Brownie Bar with a bistro-style menu, or the AA rosette Estate Room at Loch Rannoch Hotel.

Tigh na Sithe is a non-smoking property and does not allow pets. Of course, children are very welcome!
